Insight Analytics

One report, every channel, refreshed overnight.

What the reporting side of Bside Blueprint does, and what it never does.

Bside Blueprint is a fan-data and paid-media service for independent musicians, managers and labels. Its reporting layer pulls performance data from the platforms an artist already uses, consolidates it nightly, and shows it in one client dashboard beside the artist's own fan data.

Channels we report on

Google AdsCampaign performance for the artist's Google Ads account: spend, impressions, clicks, video views, conversions and conversion value, by day. Read through the Google Ads API.
YouTubeChannel analytics the owner grants us access to: views, watch time, subscribers gained and lost, traffic sources. Read through the YouTube Analytics API.
Meta and TikTokPaid campaign performance and organic account metrics.
StreamingSpotify and other DSP listener, stream, chart and playlist data via Soundcharts.
Commerce and ticketsShopify orders and DICE or Eventbrite ticket sales, tied to individual fans where the fan has given us their details.
Owned channelsEmail and SMS sends, opens and clicks from the artist's own Bside mailing list.

Nightly consolidation

Each source is pulled by a scheduled job in the early morning, normalised into one schema, and joined to the artist's fan records. Spend and results are matched to the release they belong to. The dashboard reflects the previous day across every channel, and a weekly written report is built from the same tables.

The client dashboard

Each artist, manager or label sees only their own accounts: paid media by channel and campaign, streaming and audience geography, YouTube analytics, fan value and retention, and a scorecard that separates what the team controls from outcomes it only reports.

Read only, by design

Every integration is used to read. We request the read-only YouTube scopes (yt-analytics.readonly and youtube.readonly). The Google Ads API is used exclusively to run reporting queries against campaign data; Bside never creates, edits, pauses or bids on campaigns through the API. Access is granted by the account owner through Google's own consent screen and can be revoked at any time in the owner's Google account. Data is stored in Bside's own database, is shown only to the artist or team it belongs to, and is never sold or shared for advertising.
